Welcome to Erin's Expressions! We hope you have as much fun shopping in our online boutique as we do making unique creations especially for you. We launched our business February of 2008 and are growing by leaps and bounds thanks to our wonderful customers!

To give you a brief background about our family, my husband and I have been married for 5 years and our family has grown with the addition of our first child who arrived in September 2007. I am a Labor and Delivery RN and my husband is a Firefighter. Due to the nature of our careers and the shift hours, day care possibilities for our son were very limited.

During my pregnancy I was placed on bedrest for several weeks. Being extremely hormonal and having very little to do other than lying on my side day after day, I began brainstorming about how to "fix" our upcoming child care situation. Having no family in the immediate area and friends that work the same shifts as us, I decided that I was going to be a stay at home mom. I knew I would have to do something for added income, but had not entertained any ideas up to that point.

Because Bryson was expected to arrive early (and he did!) I spent hours shopping online in preparation for his arrival since I could not physically go to stores. I was particularly drawn to the unique, personalized items that I found such as bibs, burp cloths, onesies, etc. I kept going back to these websites over and over and LOVED browsing through all of the options. The wheels started turning in my head and thoughts of opening such a business immediately crossed my mind. I kept this idea to myself for several weeks then I finally mentioned it to my husband only a couple of days after our son was born. My husband was extremely supportive from the very beginning and has been by my side through the ups and downs of business ownership. After hours of research and after much thought and prayer...Erin's Expressions proudly opened in February 2008. We want to thank you personally for visiting our boutique and taking the time to read "our story."
